How it Works
Let us know the date, location, and the number in your party (6 - 8 friends, including yourself). Then select the menu items from the list below.
And a few other details
Tell Us When and Where!
You can skip going to the store
We'll shop for the groceries and bring them over to your home about 30 mins before the party starts. We go organic as much as possible! Each friend will receive their own recipe cards.
We'll Bring the Groceries!
Each team of 2 - 3 friends will prepare one of the four menu items selected, and learn while watching the others. Then everyone enjoys the great Indian meal you prepared!
(Cook time: about two hours)
Then you can share a meal

"Julie's classes are amazing - easy to follow, great ingredients and recipes that I use time and time again after the class. Our club loves Julie's classes!"
"Julie Bala is such a sweet, genuine person and it shows in her cooking class. The recipes are really easy to make and it's extra fun if you can gather with a few fun friends and make a night of cooking and eating together."
"The class was engaging. Julie Bala was a fun and attentive instructor, and best of all, the meals that we learned were delicious!"
I am an Indian woman born and raised in Singapore. I moved to Colorado in 1999 with my husband and four children, and I now have six wonderful grandchildren.
I have enjoyed being a teacher and an entrepreneur, but my favorite thing to do is cooking for family and friends. At the encouragement of enthusiastic dinner guests, I started offering cooking classes and perform personal cheffing services about seven years ago. So far, over 100 people have attended my classes.
I love that food brings friends and family together, and I have enjoyed years of meeting many new and interesting people in this line of work. I would love to bring something new to your next get-together and I look forward to showing you how easy and fun cooking an Indian meal can be!
